Department of Advanced Metal and Materials Engineering is a discipline based on the basic science such as physics and chemistry and on the applied engineering of the preparation, the processing, and the manufacturing of materials and devices to a variety of industrial fields. Metal and Materials Engineering is concerned with the control of interatomic bonding or combination, the processes of altering the structure and properties, and the relationship between the structure and properties of materials to develop new materials suitable for applications, and so it interplays between science and engineering and supplies core technology to modern technology. Department of Advanced Metal and Materials Engineering educate students on the concept of basic science which deal with the fundamental components of materials and modern technology of materials synthesis, processes, and characterization, in order to show their leadership as materials engineer who will be responsible for developing the next generation of advanced materials.
